A rare idyllic moment for InuYasha and Kagome, inspired by my Solo pup's attitude and expression when I brush his mane.Although in the sereis Inu' would more likely push Kagome away with a gruff "Oi wench! Leave my hair alone!!!" I imagine in a private momment, he might just let his guard down enough to realise he enjoys getting "brush-ies"
InuYasha and Kagome are the creations and property of Rumiko Takahashi, not me. I'm only a worshipful fan.

My poor Solo pup had to go through a harrowing two hour de-matting and bathing session (not to mention the, likely very painful, removal of an embedded chain, and over a dozen ticks) when we first rescued him, so you'd think he'd hate being brushed. However all I have to do is say "Brush-ies Solo?" and he brings me the brush in his teeth. He has a neck ruff like a lion's mane so he gets at least a few miuntes of brush-ies every night, and moans happily to himself, as he leans into the brush just like this.

The vet thinks he's a Belgian terverun shephard, possibly pureberd, but he might have some German shephard in him. No way to tell for certian as he was abandoned, when he was only abour a year old, by his previous owners. Now we get to love and spoil him rotton...He loves marshmallows.

It's adorable, I just love the expressions. And you're right, when it's just the two of them he would let her do that, once he realised that she'll go gently with his hair...and who's to know if she plays with his ears a little while she's at it

My dog whines and moans so softly as I brush him, that it sounds like he's humming to himself. I could easily hear InuYasha making the same sort of sounds as Kagome gently runs the brush through his hair.

I know what that's like! Our big dog "grumbles" when we make her get up after she's comfortable
