Ok Here's my editied submission for Urd-Chan's Temple of the Dog art challenge for August. The original was OK, but I wasn't completely happy with it. Sorry I took so long reworking it, but better late than never I guess...It's Naraku, of course, thinking up more devious plots to mess up InuYasha's life. Couldn't resist putting Kanna in as well, but her mirror gave me fits!
I've added the hieroglyphs for "personification of evil" to the base of the visible piller, and brought up the color contrast here and there.

The picture is wonderfully done. Details are exceptional as usual. My only problem lies with the fact that two people portrayed in the picture bear, maybe, 10% resemblance to the original characters.

Thanks for the critique! I really appreciate helpful criticism like this. I thought I had Kanna's likeness fairly good, but I wasn't sure about Naraku. Still working on the whole anime-style. Do you have any suggestions on what to alter, to make the resemblance closer?

fabulous work. I just love Inu and Kags in Kanna's mirror. The whole piece is well drawn and beautifully colored. I also like how mobile Naraku's hair is.

Oh, I like - wonderful job on this. Love the detail, and of course, you've added a "spoiler" since Kanna hasn't shown up in the story - yet. I'm off to add this to the list of entries - good luck!
