I inspired this image on one of the previews for the new Equestria Girls movie, Legend of Everfree. The models were pretty easy to pose, surprisingly. Their FACES, on the other hand, were an entirely different story altogether. XDRelated content

I'm sure that I've seen about 1,000,000 Anime where that exact scene is followed by a sharp scene change where Cartoon Network have cut out some frames.

It's really annoying, some franchises have given exclusive rights to CN, so it's the only channel that can broadcast them. So no other channels can show the uncut version, and nobody is able to release the uncut versions on DVD until years after CN have shown them.
I've literally lost track of the number of series where the uncut versions have been unavailable in the US in any form for at least 5 years after CN has broadcast them. Some of them have never been released uncut. It's no wonder that there is so much anime piracy these days. You wait ages for a show to come to the US, then it gets picked up by CN and they broadcast a heavily censored version and refuse to allow anybody else rights to the uncut version.
People just get fed up and pirate everything.

I think that CN had to stop One Piece because the newer episodes were almost impossible to cut. Particularly once they reached Impel Down.
At least there is a new company doing them now and releasing them straight to DVD.
American still needs to get over this whole "Cartoons are for Kids" thing. Other countries have broadcast these shows uncut. They simply put them on after 5PM.
CN have started cutting Steven Universe and Adventure Time. Even when they are shown after 8PM.

Actually, that was 4Kids. I think there are more seasons of One Piece that neither channels got a hold of yet.

4Kids did the cuts, but CN brought the rights. CN doesn't do reedits or repaints, it just cuts scenes like in Adventure Time.
Funimation has the rights at the moment. It's releasing all of the episodes that 4Kids didn't cut in an uncut form.
I don't think that it has the rights to all of the episodes though. Only certain seasons.
