Description I've been working on this the entire holiday itself, and it's still a day late... good thing most people celebrate Chinese New Year for multiple days (fifteen tops)!

A lot is going on in this picture, as my ghost girl Jenny Wren tries to celebrate in multiple locations to be with all her friends among the living: in Mutianyu, China, Scratch and Adia are having dumpling on the Great Wall, and have caught sight of some flying paper lanterns that have been released a bit early. Meanwhile, in Brighton, Molly McGee celebrates Chinese New Year with the Chens-- a Chinese American family -- along with her brother Darryl and her best friends Andrea Davenport and Libby Stein-Torres. During the occasion, Molly gets her first period... thankfully, red is a lucky color on this holiday, and it's a good thing her boyfriend Ollie Chen is always prepared. Meanwhile, Darryl couldn't wait for the fireworks after the dancing dragon parade, as loud noises are part of the celebration, but his best friend, Ollie's sister June, has to remind him that people with autism like herself are sensitive to loud noises.

DARRYL: You brought the headphones I gave you last year, right?

JUNE: Unquestionably.

DARRYL: Then what's the problem? I say bring on the fireworks!

Noticing two couples among the Chen family, Andrea takes pictures for her vlog just as Libby tail-ends Mr. and Mrs. Chen for the dragon dance. Molly was supposed to be the tail, and insists on still preforming as exercise is supposed to be good for cramps, but everyone insists she doesn't strain herself as this is her first period, so she's given the honor (and less straining job) of leading them with the pearl of fire-- the "dragon's" favorite toy-- instead.

Jenny visits both groups for the holiday and shows up in style as she (somehow) ends up creating a golden ghost dragon like Scratch created Ghost Shark as a wraith, but as fun as those were, nothing beats celebrating with her living twin brother, Joey. His girlfriend, a Hawaiian shaman woman named Halia Akamai, is "hapa", which means she's mixed race, being one quart Chinese among other things, and they are visiting her cousins in New York City. Jenny returns to them in time for the lucky red envelopes handed out to children and unmarried couples, taking her brother and his girlfriend by pleasant surprise arriving on the back of a dragon... a golden dragon, befitting the animal in this year's zodiac.
