Hmm...I'm for something like "Aurelian". It means "Golden", which by his appearance, I say is suitable. There's just something "golden" about him.

Like I mentioned in your Journal, your style and skill of artistry is absolutely INSANELY AWESOME.
However, if you notice, many of the characters in your pictures have the same 'Staring into the distance' look.
I would advise trying to draw something that includes a more intense emotion. Maybe one to describe how you are feeling yourself?
Frustration, Anger, Sadness, lonliness.
I have confidence in you, Checkered. I dont want you to quit devart, because I honestly enjoy looking at your work.
It is beautiful.

u____u Even if I wanted to leave this site I am far too addicted. Though considering a lot of my friends have left the site it certainly makes it feel a lot lonelier here. Also despite wanting to just...stop drawing forever (some days)...I physically cant. I NEED my art...

If everything is becoming mechanical... draw something mechanical.
Draw something totally outside of your comfort zone.
Machines, strange landscapes... try drawing in someone else's style.
Dry drawing your own comic (It doesnt have to be funny, just mess with angles and picture placement to tell a story)
Draw some still life. Or moving life.
Realism, abstract, something ridiculously creepy (spiders. -shudder-)
Your branches have spread across the sky, and shine beautifully. But your roots, perhaps, are simply clutching a single area.
Make them spread.
Grow out, instead of down.
Even for a litle while.
And never throw out things, because you dont like how they turned out!
Ive done that to a lot of things, and ended up wanting to improve them later.

hahahaha well right now I feel like my commissions are sort of holding me. I SWEAR I have every intention of just...playing once I'm done with commissions... I get paid for one thing I cant just do another for them you know? I HAVE to finish at least once by tomorrow night though. My goal is to be DONE by january 1st so I have to get crackin

I like the sunset glow that shines throughout the work. The texture works well with the picture. It doesn't seem to clash at all and evens add a level detail that makes the picture pop out.

Ilriulsa-its more the trick of pronouncing it with the right stressing and the right roll of the R. Man its hard to go from an L to a rolled R haha... The L is a bit long..the ri is really short and its a very soft sounding name.
Suirulia is the same kind of feel in name. Rolled R again. (not long roll...more like a japanese R)
And lyarsia is kind of like "liarsia" ish haha
I had a character named nyrxyn too...nirshinn kind of...and Xiabishku my mom named oO...haha. *shia again*
