Earlier today something happened. I saw some artwork that literally kicked me in the crotch. It was so breathtaking that it knocked the wind out of me; no joke. While looking at it I realized how much more I need to learn on a skill level, and how much I was lacking knowledge-wise with my own stuff, so tonight, I had to beat up my paper. "That's what you get, paper! Don't ever look at me all blank and shiz!"hope y'all digs!

yeah i just checked it out. i like his revision and the baseball player but i'm not feeling the hockey and the football guy. they look great but the poses arent as potentially action packed as the other two.

i love when that happens, its like holy shit. how the hell am i suppose to come up with stuff like that, then you go home and try it. but you always fail but you keep trying then, when you get tired and frustrated you sit back and try to clear your thoughts, and when you come back. you look at what you did, and its something else, that you never had come up. its not the same as what you saw, its something different and fresh. thats for sure.
always trying to push myself everyday.
if an artist is satisfied with the work that they produce then i beleive there is problem with that person. that causes for the person to stop trying to improve and come up with somehting fressh.

Very cool stuff!! This piece is timely because I was going to ask you what artists you like (or inspire you). Your stuff looks so different from "mainstream" comics; i.e. Joe Mad, J. Scott Campbell, Jim Lee, etc. Your stuff seems to have heavy graffiti and animation influences. Care to share? Pleeeeease?
