don't front. i see you standing there waiting for that public limo.
i've decided to try my hand at a gallery exhibit with over-sized prints sometime this year. The theme will be about people all around us that we come in contact with on a daily basis. No 'superheroes'.
Some pieces will remain rough, and some will be polished, or all cleaned up or something like that. haha

Oh, forgot to say - maybe it's just me, but I almost enjoy seeing the half-way done pieces more than the completed/polished ones. It's like being let in on the creative process behind the drawing - getting to experience the process without being there. A definite personal touch.

i have actually been enjoying it more, too. it really keep me free from thinking 'animated' when i draw, and it actually let's me relax and have fun for a change, too.

I sure hope you can make it happen - I'm excited to see what will go in, and seeing the artwork on large scale would give it a whole new dimension. Sounds like a lot of work... but a lot of fun as well. ^_^

The exhibit would so totally be outside the box. Again, your style only seems easy to do, but I think it's very well suited for capturing the moment -- minimal lines and maximum content. Plus, I've never heard of an exhibit in a "cartoon" style, so it'd be all the more challenging. Have you looked into galleries?
And hey, for such a big undertaking, I could see myself driving down for a weekend.

The other thing that grabbed me was your use of perspective. I'm currently learning how to follow the rules properly and it is mad hard. You make the stuff look easy.

First of all I been wantin to say this but school beens keepin me busy (YAY for first week art school Projects). I checked out the Hellboy: Animated. The movie was kinda meh but those character designs you did were Tight as butt cheeks boi. Cudose to gettin a far out sweet as project like that, I think they shoulda let you talk more at the San Diego con though. As for this drawing like the rest you are one of the reasons I pick up that pencil and keep going, HUGE influence on me. I hope to see some maybe... *cough* Shinobi *Cough* pics in the near future. Rock out and keep up the fucken incredible work Mr. Cheeks.
