hello! first i would love to say your work is amazing! second i was looking though deviant for ideas on dwarves. i need to make one and am picking up lots of inspiration. i love yours, im a terry pratchett fan as well. but im trying to get the concept for details down, i noticed the hob nail boots, but was wondering what is on his belt?

I went for the cross of craftsman and warrior, so on his left hand side I turned it into a kind of tool belt, with loops for a couple of simple hammers.
On his right I intended to have a smaller throwing axe or something hanging from that loop, but managed to completely forget it as I was drawing. It was ages after I 'finished' the picture that I realised I had just drawn a random handle, without the axe head
As far as detail goes the vbelt is also studded, with a big metal skull-clasp using a stylised design.
With this ind of work I really believe it is all the little incidental details that make a good character or image. Most people won't notice them, but big open spaces irritate me in some work.
