Description Character from my creator owned project called Bastion's 7.

Lately I have been steering away from always polishing up my lines, so I can have more freedom in the lines.

I am definately going to do a piece for you, of one of them.. and I hope I am not bothering you at all... I noticed you blocked me on MSN.

Anyways, I am really happy with this piece, the rough lines really show a step we rarely see.

Thanks

PS The hands rock! (on both pieces) you really are going to break the comic industry in to when you publish the story!

Keep up the sketching!

I definitely dig the freedom of the linework, especially in a piece like this where it gives it much more motion.

lovin the sketchiness man! This is how you should tell their backstory... sketchy and black and white.

This encouraged me to start working on a fan art piece for Bastion 7, though I doubt I'll do any great justice, I'll still give it my all.

Omg, actual pencils and ink!? This is a side I've never seen before! But seriously, this sky-diving ninja looks cool; he's moving forward yet falling at the same time, which, for some bizarre reason looks to me like he's swimming - lack of context I suppose.

Cool drawing.

I dunno. I like your polishing up the lines. In my eyes, your regular lines already look lively. Very crisp and curvy. I've normally seen very curvy lively lines turn out messy and then very precise and crisp lines look too geometric and mechanical, loosing the feeling of the drawing. Your style kind of blends it and the result is very nice.

However, my opinion is one of thousands. And it is ultimately the artist's opinion that should matter most. So do as you please.

i totally agree with you. my final works will be the regular crisp lines, but my sketches won't be pushed to finals everytime, just so i can produce more when it's for my character studies. but i promise that the crisp is here to stay. i will reserve it for the final drawings. thank you so much for enjoying what i produce!

I love your clean stuff, and I still don't understand how you get it to look so perfect...but I also think that rough lines bring more life to a drawing. Kinda like how a pencil test looks so much more alive than a clean animation. You can see the artist's intent behind the pose and line of action...
Way ta go, looks sweet
