Ok now this one was an interesting happenstance. I wanted to find a simple crochet pattern for a cape but wound up having to invent my own and it camr out way better than expected. Here's the pattern!abbreviations:
tr - Triple crochet
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
sk - skip
Ch 114
Row 1
Tr in 5th chain from hook and all the way across. Ch 4 and turn
Row 2-13
2 tr in first tr of previous row and one tr in all following stitches. 2 tr in the last stitch of the row. ch 4 and turn.
Row 14
2 tr in first stitch sk 2, *1 sc then sk 2, 5 tr in one stitch, sk 2* repeat * until you reach the end of the row. In the final stitch put 3 tr. Leave a decent tail when you cut your end and pull yarn through loop and weave in ends.
Stitch buttons on using yarn and tapestry needle and tie off on inside of garment so as not to be seen from outside. semi-large buttons should just fit through Triple crochets.
