Creature name: Desert Devil.
Classification: True Dragons.
Group: The "wingless" dragons.
Description:
Running like the hot winds of the deserts and scorching any who dare cross its path, the Desert Devil is a ferocious creature that only the most experienced hunters should even think about attacking. These tall dragons owe ther height to their signature long and lanky legs the aid in running extremely fast. Their head is an amalgamation of horns,spikes,scales and fire. Males and females can be distinguished by looking at their head and colouration. Males have massive horns the they use to ram and stab rivals and prey alike. Males also have a pinkish colour to their top and this is flushed with blood to become a pinkish red, the brighter the pink, the more females the male will attract. However females aren't to be taken lightly. Their horns may be shorter but are still very much used to ram into things. The dragon has reduced fingers in its wings which cause it to be unable of flight. Then the dragons signature feature, the 7 opening on the side that stretch upwards. The dragon mostly uses this feature to indicate that is is about to turn something into charcoal but they also release access heat from these tubular openings to stay cool in the hottest months. These openings can also send smoke out in large clods that quickly cover the sky or send jets of smoke that make a very loud and sudden noise used to scare and intimidate. The dragons tail is a mass of armour and spikes that hold and carry fat reserves for the harshest drought. A very tough creature that demands respect from all who dare live near its domain.
