Sketched lines represent so much more to me than a full-blown coloured picture that's free of marks and things, really. Sketches show more of the artist in the drawing

I TOTALLY agree. You can see so much more in sketched lines, like the entire form of the character/ object, and the entire process that went into it. I absolutely hate losing that element when I do colored pieces. Bah. haha. Glad to know you feel the same.
