Description Ok first off. No credit for the animation, 'cos I didn't do it. I only made the model. The main reason that I'm submitting this is that I just found that Maya 6 has a vector renderer, so you can render stuff straight out as a flash file. It looks pretty cool, and is a badass way of generating 3d flash animations.
It seems to be running a little slow on my computer. Dunno why.

anyways copyright shit, so I don't get my arse kicked by universal's ninjas.

I bow to your greatness learning Maya is a BITCH! I had to switch classes back in college at the Art Institute Of Ft Lauderdale FL. I ended up getting out of 3D Max. Just felt werid not to hold what I make. (If that makes any since) I really like this remids me of Battletech and Mechwarrior.

haha, well. Not too far with the trade at the mo, but I'll get it done soon I promise. I'll try to do it over the weekend. Sorry for being such a slack ass. I'm terrible.
Anyway, as for this thing. The animation, I can't take any credit for, I only did the model. The animation was done by our lead animator. She's awesome! I guess you're right that I can't change the model in the game now. But I can always change the one I have and resubmit it on here. But the main reason I ask for criticism I guess is so that I can rectify things that might look a bit dodge in future work too.

I saw on one of your new deviations that you've been accepted onto a games design course. Congratulations! I know you blurred it out in the pic, but which uni is it at, if you don't mind me asking? Of course, don't answer if you DO mind me asking. lol I hope you enjoy it. It should be good fun.

Whoa! Incredible! And I never knew you could do neat stuff like this in Maya to be exported to Flash. That frame model is amazing...and to think meh mate animated the whole of the final boss....*sniff* I'm so proud of you Chris ;__;.
Lol, one thing that makes me laugh is that you're asking for a critique. it's already in the game and if there's any suggestions you can't do anything about it because the game is already released XP. Bet ya didn't think of that, huh? And since when did you have Flash? *poke*.

Overall, the frame is very cool, I don't know anything about Maya (yet) but I always thought claws at the end of each toe would look nice on it, since the Twins are parrots and parrots typically have claws. During battle they could...fire out like exploding missiles or something? Hmm...just a crazy thought from a crazy Crash fan. But in terms of walking, the model does look like it's carrying the weight evenly, good job for noticing that, how it sways from side to side is great too. Watching that in Twinsanity gave me that sence too (with sound effects and colour of course). There really is no other way on how else I could critique on that because I don't know Maya (like I mentioned) and it looks great anyhow.

You should take commissions. If you know Maya and you could mock models up into 3D of other people's characters and print them onto glossy - you'd make a fortune. Every person's dream is to see their characters in 3D ^_^. Uh-oh, did I say that out loud? o_O'.

Yeah, I might post a colour one at some point. The actual model is fully textured and stuff, so I'd just have to re-render it.
