I kinda did this for my sake, i was trying to help myself understand the build of a bird, so i decided i'd share my discoveries with y'alland i noticed something.... i am really good at drawing birds! I thought since i sucked so much at felines which ive been drawing for years, i suck even more with birds, which i have practiced ten times less that cats
but its the opposite. but i think im pretty good
all art by me, lineart by me, dont steal, recolor, or... whatever

Just because I'm avian enthusiast and little things like this bother me, Scarlets actually do not have the telltale zebra stripes that most other macaws have. That would actually be a Greenwing Macaw.

Excellent. It takes me usually 3-4 goes to get the head vaguely right - I think it's the beak/head proportions and the flat head. Plus ravens look kind of sinister, don't they? I have only once drawn a raven I was really proud of.

You are good at birds.
My biggest push to people when they draw them is to remember the jaw does not end at the beak, they still have ajaw bone.This reference you did shows that well.
