So, you use a Wacom (I've never heard of it) to draw your pics.

I use a 13" Wacom Cintiq.
Wacom is one of the biggest drawing tablet brands out there! I'm surprised you have never heard of it.

Dude that's smooth as heck. If you don't mind me asking, what did you use to animate this?

I used Adobe Photoshop to draw the character, making sure I drew the Arm, pen, tablet, body and eyebrows are all separated.
I then took the pieces into Adobe After Effects and put them together to recreate the image.
In After Effects I used the Puppet Pin Deformation tool and key-frames to deform the different precises.
For the eyes I used a flat texture of what I wanted his eyes to look like that I made in Adobe Photoshop. I then used a mask in Adobe After Effects to make them look rounded, like eyes, I then just used key-frames and changed the shape of the mask to make him blink.
I then added an outline to the entire thing as well as the eyes and then exported it as a PNG Sequence so I could then upload it toΒ ezgif.com/ Β and edit the size, speed and crop efficiently without using Adobe Media Encoder.
Took about 2 days to make, it would have taken months to animate it properly.

Iβve seen what it can do, and As I was trying to make animated overlays for some Twitch streamers, it only made me realize how limited photoshop is (no surprise considering what its originally made for) and how much I NEED after effects.

Yeah, it's hard to animate in Photoshop. I tend to use Adobe Animate to animate but even that program has huge flaws.
