Description I was experimenting with hair, and because I am me, it wound up sprouting horns and glowy tattoos, purely because he wound up to dark to see very well.

it's all awesome. wish the tatoos had some yellow in the center of each line. just to give the appearance of an intense heat beneath the skin escaping through the cracks of the tat lines. the background horn base should be more perpendicular(opposed to parallel) to the foremost horn. and the foremost horn, closest to us, could go a little less up and a little more around the side of the head. ur horns are a little too long in my opinion.

PS: I forgot to say that the hair turned out great! As I always paint the hair in my renders (as rendered hair looks... well, rendered) I know how much work thaaaat is.

Hmmm, he looks great. reminds me to the Dremora of the Elder Scrolls series, but maybe that is only my association as I have a something for Dremora... I love men with horns and tattoos. You totally created my kind of guy here! Great work!

That's quite lovely. You should come up with a backstory for this guy, and do a comic about him or something, because he's cool lookin'. Also, he reminds me of Prince of Persia (I think it's the skin tone and tattoos).

This is talent... I want to corroborate with you and some art for my book. This is actually really close to what I want... I'm just wondering... would you do it for free, do you like it that much? If not, it's cool, I understand... If I get money I'll come to you... Lol.

While I'm very flattered, I do make a point of not working for free unless you are a close personal friend. It's certainly not anything personal against your character, but there are a lot of people who try and take advantage of artists, and I'd very much like to avoid being one a victim of unscrupulous "employers."

REAL NICE. LOVE IT. EXCEPT IT LOOKS TO 'HOTOSHOP-ESQUE'.

IDK.....MAYBE IT'S JUST ME, BUT IT WOULD LOOK A LOT BETTER IF THE WORK WAS DONE/PAINTED OVER A REAL PHOTOGRAPH OF SOMEONE'S PROFILE.

WHATEVER......GREAT JOB!

I do appreciate the general sentiment of your comment, but I'm afraid I don't really understand the criticism behind it. I'm certainly open to suggestion, but can't quite wrap my head around the concept of a picture looking like it's too representative of it's medium. That's like saying "I KNOW YOU'RE A WATERCOLOR ARTIST, BUT I THINK YOU SHOULD MOVE TO SCULPTURE BECAUSE IT LOOKS TOO WATERCOLOR-Y."

Additionally, while working from a reference is always a good thing (and admittedly something I don't do as often as I should, as the questionable anatomy in this proves), I don't think tracing or photomanipulation is the same thing. It's just cheating, especially when you love to paint from scratch.

One more thing: CAPSLOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL, but really irritating to read. You're probably aware, but it's the internet equivalent of shouting at someone.

HAHAHA!.....sorry about the caps, iknow what you mean. it does look a little 'loud'. i hand-write in all caps as well as type. it's just me.

well, i get what you mean, with the whole 'ain from scratch' thing. it makes sense. but do you atleast undrstand what i meant? i understand you completely.

The caps lock key. It's right there. Not too much of a stretch, pal.
