Great job Michelle!! Couple of questions. What kind of pastels did you use? What kind of paper? What size is the original? How did you get it to look so smooth and blended?

Hi thanks I will do 
I used a mixture of pastels, from shcminke to Windsor and Newton - as long as they are soft. I also use Stabilo pastel pencils for the smaller parts.
The orignal is about 11 x 14 inches and I used canson pastel paper.

Aw, thats adorable! You did a great job on the realism as far as form and anatomy goes. I wish the pattern around the neck was more textured with fur...it looks very solid.

how lovely! Yes there are a LOT of colours in there!! I love the intermixing (is that a word?) of the different coloured hairs. The fur looks so soft. The smoothness of the background is really nice too. Pastels are definitely your 'thing'
