Description A schoolproject, shadow and light, done in oil. It is a portrait of my sister.
The digital photo of it is rather crappy, it doesn't really do it justice, I did my
best to fix it up in Photoshop, but... ah well.

thank you!

that's a pity, I love working with oil, especially waterbased.

The sense of light looks very lovely. I like the tone of her hair, too. It looks convincing.

this is beautiful, i think u should post the un-edited photo of it too, so ppl can see how much you changed it on photoshop. well done

see, I didn't retouched anything on the motive itself, I just tried to alter the colours (brightness, contrast etc.). It's almost identical to the original, it's only the colours I've changed. I don't think it's too interesting to look at an extremly crappy photo of a painting...
Thanks anyway!

I like the light touch of pink on her face and her eyes. Lovely I'm sure it's even more gorgeous in person.

it is allways awfull having to make digital photo's of art, it just takes out all the detail.
but it looks really cool, i love the colour of her hair, contrasting with the whiteness of her skin, and those cute lips.

I know, my teacher took the photo and it's all twisted and the colours are all wrong...
but anyways, thank you so very extremely much!
