I've seen the Game theory vids and I have to admit it's stretch...
Interesting theory, and all the rest ads great depth to the story I feel, but the phone guy as the purple guy...?
The idea that it has to be him because he's holding a phone is just...silly.
Don't know about you, but I thought that was a flash light...Why would he be caring a phone anyway?
Unless FNF3 is some sorta pre-squeal that proves it, I'm gonna say they're separate.

Because Game Theory did an episode on it. I'm happy they said it was a prequel, I liked the theory about the puppet being a dead child from the very first restaurant. I hated when he said the purple man was the phone guy.
I'm not surprised that many now believes it without even thinking about it. Oh listen to this! It has to be true! Phone Guy is the murder! Urg. I hate humans sometimes...

Funny how when the game came out, the next day I believed it was a prequel since I spent shit loads of time looking through all the stuff in the game. I went onto an FNAF 2 Markiplier video and said it was a prequel, and started a flame war by accident.
Shit loads of people said I was wrong, and then game theory made the video, and everyone believed it.
Fuck.

Are you kidding...Even Mark himself said it was a prequel when he did the 6th night.
I made an argument on the video saying if Phone Guy was the killer, then how the hell is he working there if MatPat bloody said the killer was caught on fucking camera and was arrested. Even if he was released at some point, he still won't be working there. Then a bunch of people started say. "Oh, he framed Foxy, coz in da mini game he ran into the room of dead children. We don't now if someone was wearing Foxy's suit." Or "The phone guy framed the day guard. the phone guys said the day guy was arrested"
One. Foxy's metal fucking legs was visible during that fucking game, meaning he was still tattered and ripped up. I think you can tell if a HUMAN was wearing the suit.
Two. The Phone guy didn't say shit about arrest and according to Game Theory (Which this one seem like a possibly) the 5 children killing took place in the restaurant before the one in FNAF2.
Unless there is actual proof that Phone Guy framed someone, I ain't believing shit of this theory.

I said it was a prequel before Markiplier made the 6th night video, but then even after that everyone was like "OMG MARKIPLIER SAID IT FIRST!!!1!1!1!1!11!1!"
