the media has bunnies made out to be cute friendly creatures but I assure you as an owner that this movie is more accurate to the true nature of rabbits

If you liked Watership Down there is another movie that is based off a book by the same author, and I think the animation is the same company, called the Plagued Dogs. It's not as gruesome as water ship down in my opinion, but it is just as dark.

I watched that movie when I was a kid. The only thing i remember about it is, as you said, the violence and blood.
