Or, if you would like to get all fancy on me, a Cypripedioideae.I found that I still have a lot of things I could be posting and I keep forgetting. I stashed up a bunch of pictures that I could post for you all during winter, since winter where I live is a cruel, cruel mistress. In fact, this flower is my state's 'national flower', though I've never actually seen one of these out in wild since they are so rare. This was taken at a conservatory, just to let you know.

Sorry for the late reply! Yes, it was, but it was not in my garden. It was at a conservatory in my city. I wish I was a talented gardener to do something like this!

This type of plant is quite difficult to cultivate. They often coexsist with fungi and they need specific soil mixtures. Thanks for your visit and the watch.
