I do give all the states equal respect
I'm going to give my reason on why I drew her the way she is

1. I drew her the way the author, of which the story of my comic is based on, had decided her in both her character description and within the story

2. I did my own research on each state, to the best of my abilities and Louisiana IS from French descendants. ever heard of Le Grand Dérangement (the Great Expulsion) of the Acadians?
Quick History lesson: (1755–1763) the French colonies lived in, what's now known as, Canada and parts of Maine, the area also was known as Acadie. but when after the British won conquest over Acadia in 1710, they were granted to keep their land only if they pledge loyalty to the British or get out. for 45 years they refuse to fight against their fellow countrymen, so England kicked out about 12,000 french colonists out of their homes causing the Great Expulsion. for years they wondered around to finally settle and migrate to Louisiana
so there are french descendants and which is why their other language is also french
hence the similar features of France
(and yes I know from that time til now must have changed with different and more ethnicities, however I still stand by it)

3. and finally, please don't act like France is a bad thing to be compared to. under his perverted exterior, he is a good and beautiful country. I had read through some to almost most of their history and imagining how France must had felt going though all that, losing his people in wars and how being one of the older countries the things he must had seen. I wouldn't be surprised if he would had ended up being a more serious older brother. but I think, this being my theory nothing more, that France acts the way he is because he wants everyone to be lively, happy, and enjoy life; even if it's just bickering. he rather see them loving one another (in their own special way) then seeing any more bloodshed. I use to not like France at all, until I thought about Joan of Arc and France and what they went through (it made me cry for them TT.TT). think about it.

I apologize if I offended you in any way or form, but I will not change Louisiana and I stand by her and all my other character design for all the other states as they are (it's like asking to change your child; impossible)
I do hope there is no hard feelings between us

((He is a wonderful country but we are not all France. You didn't enough research if you think everyone here is Arcadian. Specially when the ones that did come down here are in fact Creoles who have changed their lifestyles very much. And Louisiana has such a large African American population that the state would not look like France. Louisiana is not just France,it has Spanish,African,Native Americans, and Caribbean culture all mixed in.
And you can change your oc and in fact a lot of time it can be better for them. If I didn't change New Orleans he would of stayed an offensive gary stu. ))

No, I don't think everyone there is Arcandian (I'm stating an example) and I did say that I know there are different and more ethnicities, however I still stand by it. besides I did it how the author decided her, is all (but if you still have further complains take it up to her)

yes, I know I can change her... but, other then you, no one complain about her enough to change her, but maybe one day

yes you can do do it in any shade of darkish drown, it's completely fine and i'm sorry you can't do a fem version of Pennsylvania or any of the guy states including the same with the girls states, but you can try cosplaying some girl states that i have. i saw you're picture and you could be a easy shoo-in for Washington D.C., New Hampshire, Missouri, Kansas, Mississippi, Washington, or Alice Spring

Thanks I'm happy he proudly represent your State, and when the author give me his deception I instantly thought Haruhi when she started the school, only this character have the same eye brows as England and is a guy.

and yeah the dress took a little long cause I don't know much what a southern belle look like til I looked at the internet
