You have such a beautiful painting style. The brush strokes are so soft, but really accurate. They give each animal a unique personality.

I guess I'm a lazy artist but I never got people who draw all the time like that xD I dont like drawing actually, I just like to stare at the outcome at the end.

Jälleen kerran olet saanut tiivistettyä eläinten olemuksen simppeliin mutta silti niin moniulotteiseen pakettiin.
Erioten pidän siitä, miten näissä lyhyessä ajassa tehdyissä maalauksissa näkyy hyvin selvästi se, miten rakennat eläinten rakenteen töissäsi. Osassa näissä eläinten lihaksisto näkyy hyvin särmikkäinä siveltimenvetoina, siinä missä pörröisemmissä otuksissa tulee karvaisuus ja pehmeys esiin hennompina, pehmeämpinä sutaisuina.

I still have a few hours of free time after work which I use exclusively for drawing (especially these quick studies are no problem, and I also work on my comic daily). I was also expecting this and have a bunch of stuff from the past months to post later when I'm too busy to produce as much anymore (first spamming five times a week and then going silent for months wouldn't be fun for anyone lol). On weekends I draw 11 hours a day. I also sketch at work, could post those at some point too.

I just love looking at those exercises, it actually helps me learning to undertand how to work with brushes and textures, also they´re super gorgeous in their own way. Do you have a certain brush set you use to get those smooth yet edgy brush strokes?

I just use a basic round brush, and smudge edges where needed. I actually wish I could use something else than round ones but sai is limited u_u

I use ps only for editing, I can't draw or paint on it because pen pressure doesn't work on it properly for some reason and it lags too much
