See, what's confusing me here is the depth of field. I'm guessing you shot this at mid-ISO, wide open shutter, to compensate for low light? Flooding it with a bit more light and closing your aperture a stop or two to pull the letters into focus, or even backing up, framing wider, and then cropping in would have made the shot work a little better for me.
Sadly, I think with the writing out of focus and the kind of clichΓ©ed bokeh-trying-to-be-lens-flare in the background, this is an image that wouldn't have worked with a human model and is getting attention because of the "pretty doll" factor. Always think when shooting - if this was a human model, would it still be as good? If not, even just a slight tweak can make it feel spot-on.

First of all, thank you for your sincere oppinion and polite comment.
This depth of field was exactly what I wanted. This comes to each one's taste, but I wanted the focus to be on the doll more than on the words, but in a way that anyone could still read them clearly. To me, it's charming to still be able to read/understand something that is not the focus of the photo, but is still important. Mabe it might look that I didn't planned it just because it's more simple to be executed, but I believe that "wrong" in photography is something hard to discuss since it comes to taste, and if you manage to do what you were aiming for than you can say it is "correct". I did qhat I believed was better.
About the chichΓ©e bokeh ... might be clichΓ©e (I agree with that) and easy to make, but it doesn't mean that just because of that we should not do it (Although I do agree this was not a very creative use of it). You see, doll photography is something hard to do. We have to be creative and work with what we have. Different from human models, we hardly ever have something for the doll to intecart with. So anything that might make the photo a little more interesting, we have to take it! Beeing clichΓ©e or not. Indoors photography, in small rooms, with no background in scale, no furniture, no items, no nothing, we doll photographers have to try really hard to make more than very simple portraits. Dolls don't change they're facial expressions or put themeselves in position. So it's complicated to make a photo that passes some meaning or emotion.
I understand that the "preety doll" factor might have been a part of the reason why this photo was chosen. But in this case I have something that makes it deserve at least a bit more the DD than just the beauty of the doll. This doll was completely customised by me. I created the hole look of her and I am also the artist who painted her face. So, at least is a preety doll that might also count as an artistic work. Whether people like it or not, again, it comes to each one's taste. ^^
