Hi everyone! I am still alive, just really busy with my senior year of high school and now my freshman year at uni. Sorry
But anyways, ~lucas-irineu asked me to upload some more paintings, so here is one! This was from my AP Art concentration. I chose to concentrate on surrealism similar to Vladimir Kush's style - I guess I got a bit tired of painting landscapes after the first few months, haha.
But anyways, this is my Koi. He's in a well, and if you look closely at his scales, they are actually American currency. I don't know if that detail came through too well, though...
And then I decied to be punny with the name. Koi + coin = koin. lolol.

I really like the coin idea and the roughness of the brick wall is fantastic! You did really well with creating the reflection of the sun with paint, too--it's so bright that it almost hurts my eyes to stare at.
