Description So... Today was busy. I didn't finish a full sketch... I did, however, get a shiny new tablet. Over the course of the week, I'm going to be trying it out throughout the week, so while these may not be my greatest works ever, I think they could potentially set me on a path for better digital works in the future.

Anyhow, have a fantastic night, everybody!

This one... Probably left as is. It was more just a small sketch with no thought put into it, so unless I get some extreme prodding from Takai, I'll probably reserve my time for pictures I feel more strongly about. ^__^

Wow, it's cool to get a 'behind the scenes' look at how your work comes out.

Say, what app are you using here?

It's called LayerPaint, it costs 2.99, but it's *very* similar to Sai, if you're a fan of that program.

Well. Crap. I wish I'd bought that instead of Sketchbook Pro. o_O

What do you think of sketchbook pro? I'm not quite sure if LayerPaint will cut it in the end.

It's alright; just feels very limiting, since I can't alter the size of the canvas, and the number of layers you can have are limited, so I keep having to flatten everything to continue working.

PS - I only got to draw with this for about 20 minutes, so don't judge the quality too harshly. XD

I like how the hair on (her) left side (audience's right side) is done, with it falling over her shoulder while on the opposite side it is tucked behind her ear.

The thing is, no matter what direction she's facing, the tucked side will always be towards the audience, and the untucked side is always away from the audience. *cheap artist trick* lol

Maybe so, but I think that the "untucked hair on the far side" look makes it better than if you had made her hair tucked on both sides.

I shall judge it on the, "holy crap you were able to get this much done in 20 minutes," scale. Perfection!! Can't wait to see the finished product senpai
