Victor is really good-looking, but he's so nasty to Derek. I suppose that's the sort of element of pain the strip. I thought it was funny when Victor was wandering around with the bag of ice (?) on his head. And when he banged his head on the open cabinet drawer. And when Derek electrocuted him. Maybe this is how Derek gets his revenge. I like to see those elements of comedy in a comic. They make it more fun and they show that the artist/author has a sense of humour - which I think is so important, in life.
I think it's really good. I like the way that it's paced - the fact that you don't rush the telling of the story or try to cram it into too few panels (which is what I would probably do!). It's like a classic ChibiEdo doujinshi. It's got moments of both conscious and unconscious humour which I really like. I suppose I'm waiting to see how they eventually do get together. Although with the little accidents that are taking place you can sort of see it beginning to happen. Although I personally would not wish to be treated in the way that Victor treats Derek. I probably would have given up after the third panel.
I suppose in some ways it's about how a submissive personality will allow itself to be dominated by a more dominant personality. And perhaps that's natural. I don't know. But not many people would allow themselves to be treated as Victor treats Derek. Or would they? Again, I don't know. Maybe Derek knows that if he hangs on in there Victor will eventually allow him inside. Maybe Derek has a much better understanding of the situation and of what is taking place than Victor. I don't know. I'm saying that rather a lot, aren't I?
I really like the way it's drawn. It's got a real ChibiEdo look to it - very much your own style. And the same is true of the story. I really like your use of dialogue. it reads really well and you can sort of lose yourself inside it - which you should be able to do in a good story.

victor is just totally unable to normally interact with people on a social scale.. quoting Dr Sidney Kasal from the game : 'sorry for his behaviour, he doesn't concern himself with such simple things like manners.."
he seems to not care much about others (except when it's about life or death, cause then he does everything he can to safe that person. but he doesn't show that it concerns him that much..)
he sometimes praises derek (you play derek in the games ) after an operation with victor as an assistant. there is even one scene where victor says: 'I like that kind of attitude' to derek after he said he would try everything to safe the patient. In another scene derek randomly tells angie (his nurse assistant) after victor just left to continue working that victor seems to enjoy his work. whereas angie is like : ?? Really..?
victor hates failures but he admits his fault immediately and even apologises for that.he is really painfully honest as well.xD
my derek likes my victor cause of his determination to safe lives(so he knows he isn't as cold hearted as he seems) and cause of his honesty. he also kinda admires his intelligence and is happy that victor actually shares his knowledge with him. derek keeps coming back cause he is not really intimidated by him (like most people are) and he is also pretty stubborn.
and when they get together and victor starts to be nicer to him he likes him even more of course^^
concerning my victor one of the reasons he behaves like he does is that he was an orphan and never really loved by anyone. he didn't get along well with the other kids cause he was too intelligent for them (he is a genius after all.. and he ususally likes to mention that XD). He got often bullied by the other kids because he was so different. in the end he decided to just do what he wants and don't care about others.. because they hurt him anyway.
I'm really happy that you like the story ^^ your long long comment means a lot to me ^^ not many people write as long and thoughtful comments as you. I'm glad you like my kind of humour^^ oh the ice pack.. thingie..XDD well I was thinking that victor would put some ice at his head and holding it with one hand but then I thought that victor wouldn't be able to continue working that way so I just strapped the ice bag thingie to his head..XD the little accidents aren't as random as they seem. (did you think they were pointless?XD) it's kinda to establish the fact that: derek always hurts victor. Cause later derek really hurts victor but not physically. I like elements of comedy too^^ I don't like pure comedy stories though.. and I think there are many types of humour I don't like..I'm pretty picky with that.XD
I wouldn't like to be treated like derek XD but like I said derek can be pretty stubborn and he isn't really hurt by victor's mean words. derek is such a nice person (exactly what victor needs.)
about the part how they do get together:
you can see victor beginning to change in the scene I'm at at the moment. he is pretty confused cause of everything and he doesn't really understand immediately what's wrong with him. this scene will also be pretty cute cause of two things (at least in my opinionXD)

I agree with you. I think that a story - such as yours - which contains elements of comedy (the occasional visual joke) is a good thing. It doesn't detract from the main storyline and it cheers the reader up. Besides, sometimes ridiculous things do happen in life and there is a comic dimension to almost everything.
I like the way your derekxvictor story is progressing^^ and I'm looking forward to reading some more - which I will do, at some point.

I love sugar*_* I remember a day where I had put a lot of sugar into my tea and went to the bathroom and after I came back my cousin had put a LOT more sugar into the tea.. it was like:

aw thanks-^_^- I'm a little detail freak.. and I always plan everything through until I start drawing. I can even tell what the characters are thinking all of the time XD (especially victor, derek is a bit harder for me somehow maybe because I have more similarities with victor than derek).
