Pushing Daisies is above and beyond my favorite show ever. It crushed me to have it cancelled after only 22 episodes.This is from season 2, episode 8: Comfort Food. This was probably my favorite, and most ridiculous, costume from the series. There's others I want to make too but I don't think they'll be as recognizable as this one was.
The pattern on the vest is a custom order print from Spoonerflower.com since after months of searching, while able to find the pattern, we (my friend who made Olive's version) were unable to find the vibrant colours needed to replicate it properly so we created it ourselves. The vest is sized a bit too small for me unfortunately since I goofed up but hopefully it'll still fit me for a couple of more wears.
The hat was an antique from Ebay (cry) that I cut up to make room for my head as well as the pie plate. The pie is made from a chunk of insulation foam, some model magic, and paint.
I also made everything else on the costume except the shirt and the tie.
While I have met Lee Pace (HURRR) I'd love to meet him wearing this costume at SDCC or D*C by some miracle.

Wow, just like in the show! I'm really impressed. You have to be good at the sewing-machine for this, huh? The costume really turned out great, very detailed and it suits you. Someone could just mistaken you with sweet little Ned.
