Description Sometimes I really hate scanners...
but without them , I woudln't be able to post... a necesary evil, maybe?
Anyways, if you remember the former looked like crap, so it's going straight to scraps.
This one looks better, this scanner really respected the colours, though I had to put as many tones and shadows to improve the image. I spent a whole day adding this and that, greens here and oranges there, some brown and yellows and whatnot. I did all I could, hope I didn't overdo it.
A mixture of simple colour pencils and pastel pencils. Hey these pastel pencils are very creamy, almost like crayons. You can get some cool effects, like the shadows on the trees, and textures and volume you can't with the simple pencils. It all depends on your style, I guess.
I'm finally happy with this one. Now I can sleep at peace knowing that it's properly scannered.

Just freaking WONDERFUL. How the hell do you do it? The only thing I can draw is square houses and little stick people, indeed you are skilled.

Keep up the good work!

I wasn't skilled, I was inspired by the charm of music...
Now I can't draw anything without it
Thanks for the comment!

You've such a soft way. It inspires me to whimsey and fantasy in ways that I haven't gone. I've always been for bold, solid colors, but this ... this is the opposite end of the ship.

You don't have to be solid to be bold. This is such a beautiful image that I can't stop looking at it. The light is so ... bright and fluid. The trees' leaves make rustling sounds in an unfelt wind. She sheilds her eyes from the light striking through the canopy.

Very lovely. I adore this.

Wonder if I can be as soft as my colouring... I can't be bold, even if I try...
I'm very happy you like this one, I too love it.

Oh, Raziel, stay soft! The world has enough bold people wiht bright colors. Keep your soft and your subtle. The worlds needs more of them.

Much better know, yes. Glad you like it!
I just finished my studies, so I'm pretty free (at least untill getting a call of the institute saying I can start teaching there)
I hope I'll be on msn tomorrow morning... or afternoon, depending on how sleepy I am.
Happy new year for you too! Have a great time!

Very Nice... I love how you put detail into the rays of sun coming through the trees, and the hilly forest ground. Makes it seem more fantasy like. Great job.

Imagination is the kingdom of fantasy. Is like our private world were we can hide from daily routine, were we can be someone else as many times as we want.

Heh, you're telling me?! I'm addicted to the fantasy world. That's all my imagination and thoughts are really based on. Well... ok, maybe not ALL of my thoughts.. but certainly my imagination!

Wow, you are right! So much more color is evident here now!! I love your style, and now I can see it much more clearly in this picture. ^_^ The sunlight, as before but even better now, looks wonderful, warm and bright. The trees and the shadows are great! I love the overall texture of this, as well... it's a bit like a memory, but stil clear... It's a beautiful forest.

I just put some faint orange on the sunlight, the rest was done by the scanner. I think I already got stuck in that style, resembling a memory like you said. But I don't complain, I like it. Thanks for the words!

It's not overdone, it's wonderful. You did an amazing job, I love it. *wishes she could be wandering in the forest instead of at home*

If we wander in a foreste could get lost easily. only if we find an elf to help us we could get out.
But i guess it would be better, rather than just getting bored in house...
