Don't mind the sky, it was a practice. I know it didn't come out as expected...It was supposed to be a sunset, but I think it was the first time in drawing one. And I wanted to draw muskies with adventure gear, I had a great time with this one, although I wanted to add a third one with Mina in the lower right corner but I was sleepy when and short of time. Colouring them was also fun, but maybe I pressed the black pencil too much... and I should've done Anji's muskie bigger, they look like cubs. But with that and everything I like them, they are my favourite creatures of all I made. I want to draw them more now...

I don't think you pressed the black too much... you gave them a nice outlined definition, and it makes their features and colors stand out even more. I think that's a nice touch, personally, just slightly different, perhaps, from your normal style. Sometimes different is good! It never hurts to branch out a bit and do something you don't normally do. ^__^
I like the sky! And I can see the effects of the sunset in both the grass there looking like it's on fire (very cool) and the tips of the trees beyond. Great work!
Those creatures are just so cool, very detailed, expressive, and awesomely designed, in my opinion. I hope you draw them more, as well! There's so much expression on the one that is turned towards the viewer. There's an intelligence there... it's neat!

Well, they are pretty smart animals, more than horses they can even defend themselves more efficiently. Thanks for the comment. Think I'll try to draw one fighting, maybe. Can you imagine that, kicking like a cangaroo?

I'll never get sick of your soft coloring style! The texture is very sweet and calming, and you have an excellent sense of light. I just love the way you did the lighting of the scene, particularly on the hilltop and distant trees. Very warm and golden. The poses and expressions are very well done, giving an adventurous feel. Lovely! The gear looks great as well.
The only thing I would suggest to make this better would be to put some additional texture on the hillside. You did a good job on the soft color gradient there, but it just doesn't look like grass.

Now, ermm... I didn't have many strenght left when doing the grass, having a test right on me and stuff... sorry for that. Next time grass will look like the grass it has to be.
