Wow... I worked on this one for a long time. I have wanted to do a picture like this for a looonngg time~ one before the end of the epic battle between him and Sasuke.To make it extra good, I tried some new ways of coloring hair and skin...
I love his nail polish. Its so cool XD

The mouth's not wide enough, neither is the body, and you could seriously invest some work on the foreshortening (the arm really looks awkward), but it's a nice attempt XD.

Hello, and thanks for your consideration. However, I prefer to learn through experience and practice rather than someone pointing out my mistakes, which I do not consider helpful. In fact, a little rude especially since you were not offering advice or pointing out anything positive as well as the negative. Although I doubt that you had malicious intent, I must point out that I did not ask for critiques, and I suggest you focus on your own art or work before criticizing others. And this is not an "attempt," this is a piece of my artwork, and I demand it be treated as so.

Aww, he's not smiling... oh well. Great pic. How do you get the colors to blend so well and not look pixely? And where did you get(or how did you make) the background?

Hmm, well i usaully use Photoshop or GIMP, and I use the smudge tool a lot to make it less pixely and more smooth, I think. I always make my backgrounds (Even if they suck XD) and basically I looked at the video of Sasuke and Itachi's battle towards the end to see what the BG generally looked like, then did the basic colors of the rocks, sky, foliage before dodging/burning them for shadows and stuff, using a soft brush rather than a hard one so it would look more fuzzy and less in focus to make a good background. The clouds were basically the same except I smudged them a bunch to make them looke even more wispy... I think thats it!

Huh. That's pretty cool. The only place that I can use Photoshop is at my school, so I guess it'll take a while to practice. But anyway, thanks for the ideas. I might try them.

Oh, I have Gimp 2 on my laptop, but it takes forever to start up, and ever since I learned how to use PS CS5, Gimp has looked pretty primitive in comparison. Anyway, every other school day I have computer class, so I'll see it then. But thank you for the idea! It was nice!
