I made this for Easter--it’s Tohru and Momiji on an Easter egg hunt! Haha while Momiji is the most fitting character to draw for Easter, my reason for picking these characters was more so that Momiji is my favorite (he's one of my favorite characters ever ) and Tohru my 2nd favorite (I relate to her more than any other character ever).
I hadn't drawn Fruits Basket fanart since 2006, so this was a bit nostalgic. Until recently it was my favorite manga of all time (it’s been bumped down to 2nd favorite ever by the Doukyuusei Series ) and it would take paragraphs to express how much it means to me and how much it’s touched my heart and helped me throughout my life. Thus, I’m SO SO SO SO SO incredibly happy that this new series is finally bringing the manga to life in such a beautiful way! <3 <3 <3
