Thanks! I use Sai almost exclusively for digital drawing like this, Ps4 for a little bit of editing like the transparent stripes here, Gale for my pixels, and Gimp for my animations.

It's wonderful. I just downloaded the trial of Sai because I'd like to try my hand at digital drawing. I don't know if I'd ever be able to produce something like this though. It's really well done.

I think you'll do just fine! I took a quick look at your stuff and you seem to have a good eye for layering, details, and textures. If you don't have one already I recommend you get a tablet (I have an intuos4 small and love it).
Trust me, this thing was looking pretty rough at some of those steps in the tutorial! You just have to keep thinking of it as an object that's physically sitting in front of you and imagining how it would be affected by light and stuff. I spent hours on this. XD

Aww, thank you for looking at my things! I do have a tablet, bamboo pen and touch, and the thing is a life saver. I adore it.
I'm working out some line art to try and practice with. I have a few small things I draw and doodle often, and I'm going to try to work with them. I can imagine that it took hours to make those look as great as they do.
