Another quick Poke-Fail comic. Have you ever wondered how Electrode and all those other self-destructing pokemon still stay in one piece after EXPLODING??? They explode. In reality, they would be in pieces or smithereens.

The only explanation I have is that explosion and self-destruct don't really involve exploding, but they just release ALL of their energy in such a volatile way that it knocks themselves out.

It's quite simple the power of BS forces all the energy to shoot through miniature vents in them, although the blast is so powerful that it actually will damage them.

My theory: The self destruct is actually a massive explosion of pent up energy all let out at once in one massive destructive blast aimed away from the balls body, the loss of all this energy makes the Voltorb/Electrode pass out.
