Yeah. I got bored.. Wanted to comment on mah confusion on people's interpretation of Izaya-kun's eyes.Brown: They are brown in the anime right? 8D;; At least I remember a few good close ups that reveal that fact anyway.
Pink: I still kinda don't get this Psychedelic Izaya, or Psyche, since I just became a fan of DRRR recently.. orz But from what I learned it came out with Izaya in white and pink clothes on some cover right..? owo;; [Correct me if I'm wrong]
Black: Dunno. Most of the PVs I like watching make his eyes black. xD
Red: I see red everywhereeeee o: So I naturally thought that was his eye color cause I didn't look closely enough. Then I did look closer and well.. They weren't red. [Much to my disappointment] But he does look way better with red eyes imo.
So yeah... Maybe it's just Izaya trolling us with color contacts. =w= I wouldn't be surprised if he was.

His eyes are Redish brown, that's why people draw them red. I think they exaggerate the red too much though.. o3o

Okay, what is going on is that, in the manga, the official colour is red. In the anime, official is brown. PV's use black because it is the stereotypical colour of asian eyes, (and I believe that Izaya is designed to look like a normal Japanese man, compared to Shizou, with blonde hair, or Mikado with blue eyes. Just to name a few...) Black is also an easy colour to draw the eyes, because then the artist doesn't have to worry about placing the pupils correctly and only needs to worry about adding shine, if that is their style.
Psyche...is a special case, like Hibiya. I'm not to sure on where Psyche came from, but I know that Hibiya is from a character song.
