Analysis Stable
Notes Mistaken for a dragon, her mutation most closely represents a lizard. Her flat tail can serve as an oar in the water. She has learned how to control her arms, making her able to shift them from ordinary to monster-like at will. She has four extra eyes, which she tends to hide under her hood.
Yeah, I know she wouldn't win any originality contests, but, if I do say so myself, she's one of the most original Evo OCs I've seen so far...which is kind of depressing...Come on Gen Rex fan base, you can do better.

Yeah I can feel you on that one. My general beef is with the ones who look COMPLETELY human like Rex does (mainly since there are so many in the fandom), so I wanted to do something a little different without creating a full on morphed EVO. And I didn't want her to be able to hide her mutation, either. As for her neutrality, I didn't want to make her some huge deal or anything, so someone who doesn't fit on either side and just wants to live her life peacefully was more appealing to me.
When she left home she didn't want to have any remaining connections to her family, hence why she has a nickname in the first place. She got "Onyx" from the black skin of her arms because in the water it's darker and catches light well. When she met her current best friend, they didn't get along well at all. He asked her what her name was and she mumbled it quickly so he asked her to be more clear. So she pronounced it "Ah-ny-x" and that's how he decided to spell it as a joke and it just stuck that way. People thought the spelling was cool and didn't think twice about it.

2. She has no side; she's a roamer.
3. She can stick to surfaces/climb walls and hold her breath for 2 hours. (LOL 'Powers'...hers suck)

Actually she just doesn't want people to know who she is. She's a runaway, more or less.
Hmm. Well, she has one friend. He's large, animal/man-looking EVO. Then there's her 'homies in the streets' who help her out.
Haha. I never thought of that. I mainly just imagined her swimming with some fish or something with that tail of hers.

Well, that's where it gets a little complicated with them. He's really into her and she's only kind of into him, but she sees him as friends only and he doesn't want to ruin their strong relationship by possibly making it awkward with her. Also since she is still pretty human looking, he thinks she should be with someone more normal looking as well.
She has made a few human friends in her journeys and they all get along pretty well. It can be easier for humans to hang out with her since she is still semi-normal looking.
That's tricky. She has a personality and back story, but no real current plot that I've thought out. Personally having a fan OC that's met the show's main character is a thing I don't really like. If she had met Rex, she'd see him as a really chill bro and love to hang out and shoot hoops. So if you're wondering if she's one of those OCs who's dating, romantically interested in, or has infatuated Rex, she definitely isn't. Actually she'd probably come off as a bit of a jokester bitch at first.
Oh yes. Her eyes are my favorite part. I've been wanting to draw what it may look like through her eyes, but the idea makes my head hurt. Plus I haven't decided yet if she sees in normal color, all teal monochrome, or highly saturated bright colors.

Well, I finally gave him a ref sheet [link] I suppose she'd be aware of his feelings if she weren't trying to ignore the possibility of a romantic relationship with him, not because she would never want to but more because since becoming an EVO things are hard and she's afraid of slipping up with him because of how important he is to her. If he started coming onto her she'd do her best to shrug him off and act more like it's a friendly game. Though depending on the situation, if he got serious enough it may snap her out of her little delusion.
Loads of times. She can blend better, but every EVO has the same amount of public enemies no matter how close to 'normal' they are. She makes notes about hostile territories and does her best to scope out a location before going to avoid any unwanted attention.
Haha. Yes, but less of a slob and a bit more sneaky. She treats things more delicately as well and is a bit more athletic.
Yeah...it's just a thing in my head that I can't seem to decide on. I'd already decided that if she met Rex and they became friends she'd just pop in every once in a while to say hi and chill for a day or two, then disappear again to go do her thing. I just can't seem to decide on how they'd meet.
Yeah, it's the way I draw her...plus drawing extra eyes is just hard on its own. One day I'll get the hang of it.

Convinced them she's not an EVO? She can hide her eyes and even her skin but she still has those horn-like things growing out of her spine and her tail is impossible to hide.
Just her arm abilities. The skin gets really hard so it's like being hit with a slab of concrete. She doesn't work well with 'tools.'
In the beginning she would have been a thief, but as she got older she found small jobs and people willing to help out, so if she steals any more it's on rare occasions and from people she doesn't like.

Yeah, they have this one electric EVO buddy they hang with regularly...she has fun with Ahnyx over it. She thinks it's funny and pathetic that they're in their current situation: both liking each other but one denying it and the other feeling insecure about himself. More than anything her teasing is to egg them on without messing their relationship up. As for being confronted. If it were by a friend she'd be a little more inclined to listen, depending on how close she feels to them. It would take more than one confrontation to get her to confess it to herself let alone anyone else. If it were someone not so close to her/more on the outside, she'd be snippy about it and not listen to anything they had to say.
Oh. Well, some people some time. She's pretty easy to get along with, so people who are on the fence about EVOs can make friends with her pretty easy and see that they all aren't so bad. She's very mellow but spontaneous and can sympathize with normal people and their situations, so people feel inclined to spill their troubles to her and seek either her guidance and/or (mostly) her understanding. Other people she's shown that she's not destructive and eventually they warm up to the idea of her being around and don't necessarily hate her, but prejudice is a powerful thing.
Yeah. Mainly just her huge hands. Though she can shift them at will, she can't keep them in their large mode for more than about 30 minutes at a time. And she can use her tail. Since her skin's become hardened (mostly on the black areas) anything covered in the black skin is hard, rough, and dangerous. Since her tail is flat the way it is, it's perfect for smacking things aside, though she can't effectively whip it up and down as much as side to side. Also she can't swim with her large arms, they weigh too much like that.
Haha. She would not go that far. WK is a dangerous dude, and she knows that. She's loot people with smaller roles. Plus she doesn't want to attract too much attention.

how does he/she tease here id love to hear a few examples
can she infate her tail to then shed be like an evo puffer fish also when she swings her tail up and down does it act like a sword as well how durable is the black parts of her body are they like as durable a quary (hes that rock evo crime boss from the episode where rexfinds some old friends of his in japan first season i think)
i see and what if say there was a way to keep knight fram doing so (like his bosses giving her immunity fromcrimes that dont involve destruction white is after all only a poster boy for the no nanites thing)

She tends to insinuate it with small remarks like "...Oh, I bet you'd LOVE if he did THAT..." and being an overall bitch. She also likes to point out if another EVO girl is hitting on him and sometimes flirt with him herself to make Ahnyx jealous. There are times when she's just plain rude about it like "If you aren't getting with him, mind if I jump on that?" and such. But she's not really interested in him in the slightest, but it still makes Ahnyx furious. (I will have to draw these two interacting at some point. I'm horrible at explanations.)
No, her tail always stays the same. Since I made this picture I decided to thicken it a bit so this isn't the best reference image for her tail any more. When she does up and down, because her tail is thick vertically, it's very stiff and hard to bend that way, so it's more like waving a stick that anything. A really heavy stick. As for the durability...it's harder than rock but weaker than steel. I'm not sure what to compare it to. When she's had her arms all big for too long though her body begins releasing a thin slime coating to try keeping the arms moisturized, but that also makes it less durable. In the water it's still very hard but considerably softens.
She's not into that whole thing. She doesn't want to be involved in anything that sneaky or serious. If worse came to worse, she'd do it if she were more forced to, but she prefers to take things down peacefully. Now, if they took Giroux or one of her other friends she'd do what they wanted her to do. But on her own she wouldn't get into anything that serious.

I agree that she is one of the most original [that's just me though]. Fff most of the Generator Rex OCs looked mostly human. e.e;; No offense. Anyhow she looks adorable and her eyes are such a pretty color~

Yeah, but I like her concept and her monster form. She looks nearly EVO. I mean, I don't know whether its me or not, but its hard to get the...y'know...EVO style [I mean by creature design]. >> When I was surfing through the galleries yours so far was closest. xD;; There were those that had a really good background story to go with them though.
