This is an entry to #EverScript 's summer fan art contest here: [link]I think it's really sweet and fun when you watch the dolphins together with someone close to you~
The characters found here are Rika and Hibiki~
Please note that Rika appears bigger than Hibiki since she's closer to the viewer.. it's just that she's sitting and the chair can't be seen... >.< LOL, just saying coz it might appear weird to some of you~
I used poster paints in watercolor pad~
i've never seen any dolphins in real life so far. LOL

Overall, this is an amazing picture ! It's very bright and warm. I don't have too much that I would point out in this, took me a while to catch things. The thing that bothers me the most about this is the girl. First, the glasses on her head are too small, they wouldn't fit that way unless the other side of them were missing. They would have to a be a prop as well, because there's no way they would fit on her face. Speaking of her face, it bothers me quite a lot. She's supposed to be at an angle, it seems, but her right eye is really far from the other, the boy's seems to be that way too, but not as dramatically. I suggest you move their eyes slightly closer together, between the eyes, there should only be about 1 eye's worth of length between them. Glasses should work as a good reference, if it wasn't for the size of the glasses shown, I'm sure they would be fine. The girl's body seems to have a few issues as well. It doesn't really seem that she has ribs, about to the elbows is where ribs normally end, but unnatural thinness is what some people like to see. I'm definitely counting in the "anime" style for this. Last thing that I really notice, those are some huge binoculars, it doesn't seem that they would properly fit on their current faces, and the boy's right hand seems too small compared to the right, that goes both ways.
I'm also assuming they've stopped watching the Dolphins because it's getting late, but if they're still meant to be watching them, they would have to be turned a different way, or you would have to assume there's something else to look at.
Overall, at first look, I was really impressed. If I wasn't outright looking for things to fix, I probably would've moved on without noticing.
