Description
This was for Xiren's birthday that was on the 12th, but I just haven't posted this, no reason really... just... I didn't. It's been sitting in my stash for a few days now. I think I'm just not used to posting SO much, I don't want to spam you all.

I'm fairly proud of this one, 'cause I'm really bad at drawing kissing. Almost as bad as knees DX I had to do this one all digitally, I'm not comfortable enough in doing it in my sketchbook... I like having the freedom of moving the sketches around and resizing and erasing over and over. I TRIED drawing it in my book, but I erased it too much, so, photoshop here I come. It's fairly rare that I do a whole piece digitally anymore, just like it's rare I'll do a full tradtional piece. Mixed media, aweeeeyeah~

Also, Nel without a hat, oh my! He looks so naked. I feel though, that he looks so much flatter than Xiren does, I don't know why, I just can't put my finger on it. But, I'm trying out different shading techniques, I'm not entirely sure what's working and what isn't. Soft shading looks okay, I guess, it was quick and easy, ooooooo~

I also really love drawing Xiren, so in love with the tomboys. And apparantly, Nel is too~
