Fatality!Got kinda sucked into this one, and stayed up way to late. So, yeah, I used a lot of parts from previous pages to kinda Frankenstein this one togather, so if some stuff looks familiar, you caught me, I steal my own art. But, y'know, deadlines and all.
So honestly, this entire page is just buildup for that last panel. One of the things I like about the 4th gen dinos is that basti looks like the front of a castle (complete with windows!) and rampardos is a living battering ram, so when they fight, its like a living siege. To bad not even the strongest castle can stand up to sappers

And I'm sorry, I just had to laugh at the last page when Jormund is going to Zen Headbutt the Bastiodon... in my head I was thinking "The FOOL! Does he not know that psychic attacks will have little to no effect on a Steel pokemon?! And one with the highest defense, on top of that!"

I wouldn't have even noticed the recycled backgrounds, I should maybe try slip a bit of that sorta stuff into mine, might shave off a few hours here and there
That last panel, totally kick ass! that perspective is amazing and I like that fiery effect, Mr. Ramparidos is a bit of a jack-of-all-trades!
Loving the panel with him leaping into the hole, I'd go as far to say he even looks kinda cute! and That's a nice little analogy you've got going with the castle/battering ram

Honestly, I'm recycling WAAAAAAAAY more than backgrounds, like, I'm re-using entire panels, but if you ever watch the pokemon cartoon, i swear they animate half of it, than use the same stock poses for everything else, just replacing the mouth shapes. Plus, they recycle battle footage all the time, so, I'm just staying true to source material

If you ever play Pokemon Battle Revolution, one of the battle stages has a castle in the background that is built to look like a bastiodon face.
I like that stage.
