Some of my friends are just starting to learn how to draw and a couple have asked for help, where to start, etc. After a lot of thought, I figured I would go back to the basics - shapes and lines! This was the basis for me learning how to draw, and it is the starting point for most of my works. I will try to have a new lesson once a week.

I do not claim to be a professional artist or illustrator. I have plenty of room for improvement, as most artists do. I only seek to help with some basic skill building. Shapes are huge part of artwork.
