Description
A full traditional piece of my OC Exie. I hate doing sky backgrounds but I hope to get better at them with time, I am really pleased with how Elissia turned out though. If you're interested to know what exactly I use for my art, I will list my equipment below.My tools of the trade;
Sakura Microns (0.05, 0.1, 0.3)
Signol Uni-ball white gel pen
Copic Opaque White
Copic Ciao markers

Sakura Microns are pigment fineliners used for making the lineart of a drawing. They come in a range of sizes and work well with copic markers.
There aren't many art shops in england, so all my supplies come from online stores like ebay and amazon

I love the way you can use your copics, I can't quite afford them yet, so I stick with prisma colored pencils and faber castell. :c
Is there a price difference from the USA and England? :c and do you buy refills for yours or brand new copics?
Regardless, I can't think of anyone that uses them better than you.

Copics are a lot more expensive in the UK it seems, when I compare the prices to how much Letty buys them for. I own some refills, mostly for skin colours and exie's colours. Though to be honest I have been using bits of my student loan to buy more copics XD;

I think the background looks really pretty! 
I also have a question, with Sakura Microns do they work well with copic? For some reason when I use them they always smudge.

Strange, I have never really had that that problem. Sakura Microns work really well for me. I use the 0.05 and 0.1. I think if you want to use those pens with copics, it's best to do a very thin lineart first then colour and then add lineweight after all the colouring has been done. That's what I do at least, and I've never had any problems with it.
Then again, I think it may depend on the paper you use too. I always get smudging when I use marker paper so I avoid it. I tend to just use standard sketch pads or plain printer paper.

Yes. The only colouring is with copics. The white dots and highlights were made with copic white opaqueΒ

dam that's kool wish i could that good,
Β I my self like to draw with a .5, and .3 lead mechanical Β pencil and use Staedtler Mars lumograph pencils as a finisher i got all shades of the soft and hard graphite pencils.
