Description
Well, since deviantART was being a *censored* last night, I had to wait to upload this one. Taken from Sunday afternoon's 'Sal time.'I think i'm going to set aside a certain time each week to spend taking photos or writing. Doing this really helped me in my current mental state.
Anyhoo, onto the picture.
I'd like to know what you think. It's not often I find leaves cute... but these guys were right next to each other and they reminded me of twins

For me this is a great shot. Although I'm not very good at photography since I concentrate on digital stuff, I think the blurred background fits nicely, and emphasizes the "twins" well. The border is great too. This shot gives a clear message of respecting differences between siblings.

As many others have said, the complimentar color scheme is definately an eye opener. The concept is adorable to...with no help from XxCrimsonCloudxx...xD. As this person stated, I also recomend cutting off a little of the top. I'll elaborate by saying that if the dark brown vine/branch/thing is cut off, the overall composition would be balanced, and more symetrical-as it almost is here.
What I happened to notice...without CrimsonCloud's help, is that the background is green too. That isn't bad in itself, but the fact that the values are similar is where I come in. They are both midtones, making the overall image look a tad bit flat. I suggest using the burn tool to make the background darker. I think the twins will stand out more.

*Rants*
It reminds me of one of those unreqited love, look-but-don't-touch romances. The two very adorable leaves have been staring wistfully and shyly at one another for a very long time, and weren't confident enough in themselves or the feelings they thought they saw the other having for them to say anything about i. After years of heart ache and when they were about to give up, something (preferably some severly broken hearts) throws them falling into each others arms. And that's how they ended up together, like they are in your cute photo, blushing (lol, as can be seen in the pinkish patches on the gree leaf) and being all smiling like.

I love the way the leaves are so very in-focus, and the background is this wirr of colours and things...although I think it would be interesting to see what the photo would be like taken from a little further away, so the background is just a little more focused...
as it is, it's almost surreal when u stare at the lines of the leaves against the fuzzy background...
on a completely different note, i'll just have my little criticism-daily, by saying maybe it could be cropped a little tighter? just on the top, i mean, so there's less stem showing. ignore this if you don't feel like any words of the sort today
