O happy day! I spent a really long (well actually it only took about 4 minutes) time on writing a friggen HUGE description, then when I pressed continue, it went to some random page that basically told me....it's too late to be writing a really long description.Of course I'm not going to write the WHOLE thing again..I'll just give the basics:
this started off as a practice sketch but then I ended up putting nearly everything in. It is taken from a still from a music video of Tomahawk. Shall submit the finished product (with his hair n watch all done!) and all shall be well!

That is so cool...I want to find a picture of Patton to draw with colored pencils so bad...pics of him are so rare, though!

i agree, patton pics are definately hard to find! a good way of getting images that aren't really printed in magazines is to go through videos on the computer and take screen shots. The most interesting and challenging pictures to draw are ones caught in action! live videos are my favourite to file through because you get the best expressions.
If you get the time i highly recommend you try that

Why hasn't anyone favved this yet???? Your talent needs to be appreciated more. Looks like your studies are paying off. Excellent texture. I initially thought it was a photograph. But knowing you, I couldn't be fooled. I wonder what the casual observer would think?

i didnt realise it'd turn out so well, so it has inspired me to start a coloured project...hopefully it'll get off the ground.most of my ideas barely reach the paper

thanks! it's done with faber castel coloured pencils. just the sort kids have lol
