He is resigned to the decision he's made. He's going through a really hard time and he thinks this will fix it. But Kervak thinks he's making a big mistake.

She really cares about Rover and wants what is best for him. She knows that he is in a lot of pain and wants to help.

So glad you like it!! I enjoy drawing her! She is such a fun character.
He likes her a lot as well and really does value her opinion. But the poor guy has never been so hurt or so afraid. Even though it really happened years and years ago, to him it's as if that event happened the moment he woke up in sickbay. He'd sealing with it for the first time. He wants the pain to go away but he's also afraid of losing himself..of becoming someone he doesn't know.

I know! The poor guy. Kervak was hoping she could pay him back for saving her life. Kervak also knows a few people to help with such things but she isn't going to for Rover to do something he doesn't want to do.

I think he would have went with her in a second if he hadn't met the Aher. He thinks he's found an easier way than wading through all that grief and trying to sort things out himself. But easy fixes aren't always all that they appear. And right now he can't see around that big scary memory to enjoy all the good ones.
I actually really liked doing her hands. They are so small and such an interesting mixture of human and animal.

Kervak knows that it would be better for him to heal over time rather than a quick fix. I hope he's making the right decision.
They look so cool! I still would like to see the part where she tried to trick Rover and it backfired on her. That was funny.

Agreed. And I'm not sure if he is. He's not exactly the kind of guy to think things through. He more of a "ready, fire, aim" kind of guy.
