I am not entirely happy with the coloring on this...but I colored it anyway.A comic version of this story:
Not sure I will do the whole story, though.

I just noticed those dune fruit look like mango's with the skin of an orange . They look pretty good, I wonder what they taste like Then again I love weird fruit, The weirder the better

The meat is a bright blue green with tiny seeds sprinkled throughout.They do have a mild mango flavor and are slightly crunchy.

He's pretty shocked and surprised at this UFO crashing in the middle of his field. Nool is a pretty uneventful little island so this is a complete shock.

I don't think you did a bad job on the coloring. I personally don't see anything wrong. As I continue scanning the image, the only tiny thing I might change, is in the third/background panel. The way the dirt fades into the edges in the lower half behind the two last panels. Maybe instead of it fading from those dark highlights, to medium, then that light shade in the edges, maybe it could fade to a deeper, darker shade instead. It would kinda contrast with those two panels. The last two don't stand out from the main panel as much as the first two do as it is. But that's really only a small critique.

Speaking of which, I just discovered that a visit to Jssfloon might not be so far off. There's this amazing space sim program called Space Engine. [Link] You can fly through space like in a starship. It has the stars, planets and stuff that we've discovered, and generates stuff we might not have discovered yet. Thing is, you can even add your own stuff! Like fictional solar systems etc. I'm working on a couple now like Krypton, and I want to add Vulcan soon. I'm having fun doing it! And now, I SO want to be able to go to Jssfloon, Vasthii, Ahijj, and even see what other planets might be in their solar systems.
The graphics are amazing, even though it runs a little slow on my computer. You can even add spectacular auroras like Jssfloon has!

It is awesome! It's fun making stuff, but it is somewhat tricky. You do it by writing a script for it. This is an example of a script for a star I added: [Link] That's a simple script compared to creating a planet. And there is some math involved too.
I'd love to work with you to create Jssfloon! Even though I'm still learning some, I've got the hang of it, cuz a similar program I used, called Celestia worked similarly. We could work around not giving Jssfloon's real location away. If you want.

I like the coloring. Maybe if you put the flames over the lines, that would help? It's neat seeing the ship, and being able to tell that it's an escape pod.

Same here. I hate drawing vehicles. One trick I found is to use the path tool in photoshop for those, since you want smooth lines.

Basically yes. There is a lot of variation, though. From a kind of teal to almost lavender. But all blue.

Neat. I always find it more interesting when a species has a themed range rather than just a handful of specific colors. Then again, I've come up with species where an identifying marker is having a specific color somewhere on the body; though in one case, the color was a clan marking.
