Description One of the largest known territories that exists within the fog, Geoda is a sprawling desert region within a sea of fine, ever-shifting sand. Perilous and arid, travelers passing through to reach the city will need to stick to known safe routes in order to avoid being swallowed by the unpredictable quicksand ocean.

Beneath the sands, a myriad of sandstone plateaus, structures and tunnels serve to direct the flow in a constant natural cycle, wind and underground geysers redistributing and relocating, creating the 'sand waterfalls' so typical to the area.

While it may seem barren, Geoda is surprisingly bountiful. Many useful plants, ores, and materials are found and traded and even Water-type Pokemon can enjoy relative comfort should they find a safe oasis to settle down at.

Due to how expansive it is, much of Geoda remains unexplored, as far as common folk are aware. The tribe of wandering nomads who assist travelers on their way to and from the city seem to appear and vanish as they please, crossing into the dangerous portions of the desert with impunity. As night falls, the searing hot sun gives way to an oppressive cold, though due to local suspicion, very few native Pokemon will venture outside after hours.

What a truly epic piece

They way your talking about and explaining the underground, reminds me of NausicaΓ€ of the Valley of the Wind, when she and Asbel they sink below the toxic jungle and discover pure clean water and no toxins

what is that giant arch? it doesnt look like a natural formation, is that the city?

ChillySunDance In reply to Zerochan923600 [2015-09-04 18:24:07 +0000 UTC]

The city is built along the underside of the arch, but as far as anyone knows, it's a natural formation. Does look a bit odd doesn't it?

It's very cool. I could believe the arch part is, but because of the textured bits hanging off i could tell it wasn't completely natural

if theres one this ill say its that the color of the sky is a bit jarring against the color of the rocks and hurts my eyes a tad. otherwise the rest of this is awesome!
