Description
The First Human

A very long time ago, monsters and humans lived together in harmony. Then one day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans won and the monsters were banished underground with a magic. They have lived there since.

Some time later a child fell into the underground. Injured, the human cried out for help. Asriel, the king's son, heard the human's call. He brought the human back to the castle. Over time, Asriel and Chara became like siblings. The king and queen treated the human child like their own. Chara became the underground's beacon of hope.

Chara and Asriel came up with a plan to break the barrier. No-one else knew about it. Chara chose to sacrifice themselves so that Asriel could absorb their soul. So they poisoned themselves with buttercups. The sick child had only one request. To see the golden flowers from their village again. But no monster had the ability to grant that wish.

Several days later... they died.

Wracked with grief, Asriel absorbed the soul and crossed the barrier. He carried Chara towards the village. At the centre of the village laid a bed of golden flowers. Asriel carried the human on to the bed of flowers. Suddenly screams rang out. The humans saw him holding the human's body. they thought that he had killed them. At Chara's urging, Asriel was reminded of his mission to collect six more souls and become a God. Asriel was struck blow after blow after blow until he could barely stand. Asriel had the power to destroy them all...

But he couldn't do it. He couldn't bring himself to kill them. Even when the humans attacked them with everything they had, even when they were on death's door, he did not fight back. Clutching the human... Asriel smiled, and walked away.

Wounded, Asriel stumbled home, dust pouring from his many wounds. As he entered the castle, he collapsed and succumbed to his injuries. His body turned to dust and scattered across the garden.

The kingdom fell into despair. In just one night, the king and queen had lost both of their children. The humans had once again taken everything from the monsters. The king had decided that it was time to end their suffering. In his rage, king Asgore declared that all humans who fall into the underground must die. With enough souls, the barrier could be broken forever.

Many years later, a human falls into the underground and with their DETERMINATION awakened Chara from death.

Oh good golly gosh! That Sans model is taking a frustratingly long time to finish. I don't like it and I don't think it likes me either. So I took a break and decided to do another model for a bit. Originally, I was going to do Papyrus after Sans followed by Flowey then Chara and Frisk but there was no way that I was going to do another skeleton when I still didn't like Sans. Thank god this model only took me 2 days to complete. It was nice and relaxing compared to Sans.

I think I've decided to add a little bit of a story to every character model I upload to Deviantart from now on. Next on my list is Frisk.

Done in Blender 2.75a using the Cycles render engine.
