This is probably the most effort i've put into a picture in...like...forever. His name is Haku. I had a dream about a missunderstood albino boy who wanted to start a band, but couldn't cause everyone that knew him thought he was a freak. He's in trouble with thugs cause he owes money. Overall his personality is rather...flat. He has an unusual perspective on normal things - a true irony that he's called 'the black sheep' of the family, and of his peers.

Thats most of what i got from the dream, not sure if i should make anything of it - think he's quite a bish. There was also a girl, but im not sure if i should bother drawing her.

I used a ref for the form and the guitar, cant remember where they are though....

Well well well, what do we have here Claire? You saw him in a dream? It sounds like something an artist would do though. I'll message you about it with a note later.

Arguably one of your best works yet my little artist. A great sense of apathy is seen in the subject and it is clearly a male, an obstacle many artists face when using this style. He feels very human, it's not like he's a random work, but rather a painting. The shorts and the short sleeve shirt add a nice casual aura about him. The background is excellent; it adds to the work while not taking away any of the attention.

Overall a very laudable job Claire.

The only complaint that I have is that he looks a bit like Near from Death Note, only older. People might say that you based him off of Near but that's at a quick glance really.

^^ thank you! i really appreciate that you take the time to crit my work, it means so much to me! Im dissapointed about the near thing though, i dont believe myself he does but meh XD The guitar was actually copied from my own Bass (although its an elec. in the pic) ^^

I think this is the most...real thing i've produced, if you get what i mean...it looks so...proffesional in my mind, more adult than what i normally draw. Could i say though, im not sure what you mean by apathy (i dont know what the word means, i mean XD) or laudable

Apathy (noun): showing or having little or no emotion

Laudable (adjective): praiseworthy, awesome; etc.

I know what you mean by most realistic; I feel that there is much more emotion (even though he has none) in this work than many others.
