I love how blood flows from the eye. I love the bandage. I love the thorn thingies on his wrists (though I'd cry if I had some of those in real life).

Experimenting is quite good and this turned out to be a magnificent piece x3

The pain is overflowing! I just love the emotional force put into this it's absolutely magnificent. The pose, the area where you cut off his face, and even down to the lighting (something that you don't often use) is all key to giving the shock/pain value to this piece. The quality is just magnificent especially the arms... they're almost human/3D it's scary.
One tiny minor issue is that thing on the subject's right eye... bandage?
all in all it's glorious and deserves to be up with your other major works!
