I am going to assume she's a magic user.
No sane or normal person would go into battle wearing something like that whereas mages tend to justify all of their more sillier decisions as "Tis magic shut up"
At least thats how it's been in my experiences with them. At least in DnD and popular culture.

And what exactly is so "ultimate" about it?
Forgive me for asking about all these things but unfortunately I am the type of person who looks at a character like Red Sonja with her chainmail bikini and goes "WTF lady? There are at least 20 different problems with that outfit that I can list off the top of my head right now."
I have no problem with sexy characters in anything, or sexy outfits. But sexy outfits that are meant to be taken into battle...... A line has to be drawn somewhere.
Another case in point, high heeled shoes on superheroines. WHAT SANE PERSON WOULD EVER DO THAT!?

That would require a bit more effort on my part than I think is necessary. I have no idea how to do that and I've never played Dragon Quest so A LOT would be lost on me.
I'm just complaining about a silly outfit that exists for no reason other than fan service for no reason other than fun. You don't have to take anything I say THAT seriously.
